ZKsync запускает обновление Atlas с рекордной производительностью и новыми функциями Translation: ZKsync launches Atlas update with record performance and new features

The team behind the L2 solution ZKsync has unveiled the Atlas update for ZK Stack, aimed at facilitating and accelerating the transition of businesses and institutions to blockchain technology.

This feature introduces a new high-performance sequencer capable of processing between 25,000 and 30,000 transactions per second. The update is fully compatible with Ethereum-based applications.

Additionally, Atlas incorporates a new proof system called Airbender, which allows transaction confirmations in under one second and speeds up calculations across various blockchains.

According to developers at Matter Labs, these advancements will assist organizations in building systems that combine private control with compatibility in global markets. The update is designed to bolster payments, tokenized assets, and cross-border transactions.

Atlas will also enhance opportunities for developers by supporting diverse types of virtual machines. This architecture ensures that the application code aligns perfectly with what is verified on the network, boosting reliability and transparency for businesses.

“ZKsync is foundational for a new era of financial infrastructure, where companies can operate on-chain with the same sovereignty and flexibility as within their internal systems, backed by unbreakable guarantees provided by cryptography,” stated Alex Glukhovski, CEO and co-founder of Matter Labs.

It is worth noting that in April, security specialists from the L2 network identified a compromise of an administrative account. Later, the ZKsync team negotiated with a hacker for the return of $5 million.
