YZi Labs Backs Plumes Expansion in Real-World Asset Tokenization

The venture firm YZi Labs (formerly known as Binance Labs) has invested an undisclosed amount in Plume, a modular blockchain focusing on the tokenization of real-world assets (RWA).

The Plume team is developing an EVM-compatible environment that grants users access to traditional financial instruments, carbon credits, GPUs, collectibles, and various other assets.

With YZi Labs’ investment, Plume aims to scale its operations, strengthen its position within the RWAfi ecosystem, and broaden its reach in emerging markets.

“We are grateful to YZi Labs for believing in our vision and supporting our efforts to integrate crypto-economics into the RWA space,” said Plume co-founder and CEO Chris In.

The project’s testnet has already connected over 18 million wallets, establishing partnerships with more than 180 protocols representing assets worth over $4 billion.

It is worth noting that at the end of January, YZi Labs led a $16 million investment round for the infrastructure project Sign.
