Yandex Music Launches Standalone App for Samsung Galaxy Watch

Yandex Music has introduced a new application designed for Samsung Galaxy Watch smartwatches. This app operates independently from a smartphone, allowing users to listen to music, podcasts, and audiobooks. It includes key features of the service, such as accessing «My Wave,» adding tracks to Collection, liking songs, and various sports modes (like «Running» and «Training»). Control is managed directly from the watch screen.

The main screen provides quick access to the current track and player, as well as to downloaded content and the Collection. The structure of the Collection mirrors the mobile version, featuring sections for albums, artists, books, podcasts, and a «Liked» playlist. There is also a dedicated section for offline listening called «Downloaded,» where users can save tracks, audiobooks, and podcasts.

This app is available on Google Play for Samsung Galaxy Watch4 models and newer. Watches powered by Wear OS are compatible with Android smartphones. The service is operational in Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Armenia.
