Vladimir the Enlightened: Centralized Exchanges as Predators and Cannibals of the Crypto Space

**Vladimir the Understanding (V.U.):** Around 2016, I came to realize that consensus in Bitcoin was achieved at the code level. Before that, I was involved in social activism, where we struggled to reach consensus within small groups. But now it turned out that there’s no need for debate — it’s already encoded! The blockchain became my tool for improving the material world through the digital realm. I embraced the role of a «blockchain evangelist.»

**FL:** **Many are talking about the «decline» of crypto: meme coins, decreasing developer activity… Is this a downturn?**

**V.U.:** This is evolution. The volume of development is increasing; the focus has shifted from infrastructure to applications. A hundred projects may emerge, ninety will fail, ten will survive, leading to forks — the cycle continues. What’s important are the victories: countries are legalizing crypto, major players are integrating Bitcoin. We said it would change the world — and it is, just not instantaneously. A free market must be chaotic and unpredictable — that’s a sign of its vitality.

**FL:** **Brian Armstrong describes the synergy between AI and blockchain as having x10 potential. What are the prospects for this partnership?**

**V.U.:** It’s a super synergy! Blockchain is the perfect, ever-evolving database for a new type of AI (SNN, LNN) that can learn in real-time. We will create AI agents or digital twins to autonomously execute tasks based on our prompts. Imagine: while you’re asleep, your digital twin stakes tokens, earns rewards, adds liquidity to pools, and monitors fees. Blockchain will ensure the transparency and reliability of their operations.

**FL:** **What about the threat of AI to jobs and even humanity?**

**V.U.:** AI is a tool, much like a hammer. Yes, it will replace routine tasks — similar to how the printing press replaced scribes. This is progress. We are already living under the «rule» of AI, asking for its advice. Soon, it will start offering suggestions proactively. Our focus should be on goal-setting: what do we want to achieve? The responsibility for AI’s mistakes will fall on its creators — this will incentivize making it safer.

**FL:** **You mentioned «post-humanity.» Is it realistic to overcome aging and death through AI and biotech?**

**V.U.:** Absolutely. Our validator is named POSTHUMAN for a reason. Humanistic approaches (religion, philosophy) don’t solve the fundamental issues of human nature. The solution lies in altering this nature through technology: gene engineering, cybernetic enhancement (neural interfaces like Neuralink), regenerative medicine. Those who don’t evolve technologically will be left behind. The future belongs to those who become «more than human.»

**FL:** **Who would you call the «ladybug of the crypto industry» — seemingly cute but actually predatory?**

**V.U.:** Definitely CEX! They are true cannibals. On the surface, they appear as «angels» helping with trading. In reality, they exploit users’ funds for their own benefit, «devouring» each other in competitive battles, and suppress decentralized alternatives. Their model is inherently exploitative towards users and the ecosystem.
