Vladimir Tarasenko Traded to Minnesota Wild by Detroit Red Wings

The Detroit Red Wings have announced the trade of Russian forward **Vladimir Tarasenko** to the Minnesota Wild.

According to a press release from the Red Wings, «Tarasenko has been traded to the Minnesota Wild in exchange for future assets.»

Tarasenko has been with the Red Wings since 2024. In the last season, the 33-year-old winger recorded 33 points (11 goals and 22 assists) with a plus/minus rating of -13 over 80 games in the NHL regular season.

Selected by the St. Louis Blues in the first round of the 2010 draft with the 16th overall pick, Tarasenko won the Stanley Cup with the Blues in 2019. He also secured another championship title in the NHL last season with the Florida Panthers.
