VK Invites Moscow Student with Perfect Exam Scores to Internship on Digital Platform Team

VK has invited Moscow schoolgirl Nadezhda Yashmolkina for an official internship in the digital platform team Max. She scored an impressive 400 points on her Unified State Exam (EGE), obtaining the highest possible mark in each of the four subjects: Russian language, advanced mathematics, computer science, and physics, as reported by the company to Habr.

Throughout the year, Yashmolkina achieved victory in six subject-specific Olympiads and participated in the final rounds of the All-Russian School Olympiad in mathematics and computer science. In the 2024/25 academic year, she became a prizewinner of the «Technocup,» a competition organized by VK in collaboration with the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) and Bauman Moscow State Technical University.

During her visit to the VK office, the schoolgirl met with company experts and learned about opportunities for development in the IT sector through VK Education projects. VK actively supports talented students by conducting career guidance initiatives, organizing Olympiads and IT competitions, and implementing educational projects with leading universities in the country.

While Yashmolkina was at the VK office, employees shared their experiences and described how they joined VK teams after participating in joint programs with universities.

«We congratulate Nadezhda on her outstanding achievement and wish her success in her studies at the university she chooses. We are aware of her interest in the IT field, which is why we invited her for an internship with Team Max. I believe every graduate needs a break after the challenging EGE exam period, so we look forward to seeing Nadezhda join us for an internship or our educational programs with universities this summer or next,» stated Anna Stepanova, VP of Educational Projects at VK.

«I am excited about the opportunity to visit the VK office, learn about the company’s activities, and ask questions to real professionals in the IT industry. This has been a valuable experience, and it was fascinating to engage with experts who are developing sought-after digital services. I encourage all students who envision a future in IT to participate in Olympiads, competitions, and intellectual contests currently being held for high schoolers. These events provide a chance to get closer to their professional future,» shared Nadezhda Yashmolkina, a graduate of Moscow School No. 1514.
