Unity: 79% of Developers Embrace AI Adoption Despite Concerns

In the current era of rapidly advancing AI technologies, an increasing number of individuals are voicing concerns about the stability of their jobs. This issue has also impacted the gaming industry, where gamers themselves share mixed opinions regarding the use of AI. According to *Unity*, 79% of video game developers have a positive outlook on the integration of AI into their work.

In their annual gaming report, *Unity* indicates that out of 300 respondents, 48% view AI favorably, while an additional 31% express a very positive stance.

From the *Unity* report:

When comparing the results of this survey with last year’s data, it was found that the rate of AI usage remains stable with no significant increase. Interestingly, studios have begun to utilize AI less frequently in creative areas such as narrative design and art direction. Instead, they are increasingly adopting new technologies for automated testing, moderating in-game communications, and enhancing code.

Ben Hymers, founder and technical director of *Two Point Studios*, noted that while studios are hopeful about saving time through AI, they still plan to combine these tools with established methods and manual effort.
