Unapologetically Champions: Bennett Defends Floridas Bold Style at Parade

The MVP of the 2025 NHL playoffs, Florida Panthers forward **[Sam Bennett](url)**, addressed the crowd during his team’s championship parade following their second consecutive title, responding to frequent accusations of «dirty» play directed at Southern teams.

“A lot of people don’t like how we play. We’re called ‘dirty’… unpleasant… I’d like to apologize… to absolutely no one… We’re back-to-back champions, and we’re doing whatever the hell we want,” Bennett stated.

During the recent playoffs, the 29-year-old Canadian played in 23 games, recording 22 points (15 goals and 7 assists). This marked his fifth season with the Panthers.

It’s worth noting that like last season, Florida triumphed over the Edmonton Oilers in the finals (4-2). Additionally, the Panthers have reached the finals for the third consecutive season.
