Ubisoft and Unfrozen Postpone Early Access for Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era to Late 2025

The developers from the Cypriot studio Unfrozen have announced that the launch of the early access for the tactical fantasy strategy game Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era will be delayed. Originally set for release in the second quarter of 2025, the date was later pushed to the summer, and it is now expected to take place between September and December.

The team described this decision as difficult but necessary, stating, «We want to create something truly special.» They emphasized that they received a wealth of feedback and require additional time to implement improvements based on this input.

Unfrozen has already made some enhancements to Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era without an official announcement, including an update to the look of the Necropolis faction’s castle.

«We want to take every step of this journey with you and appreciate your understanding as we strive to release Olden Era in the best possible form. Thank you for joining us. We’ll see you on the fields of Jadam in 2025,» the developers said.

Unfrozen is expanding the testing program for Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era to involve more users in the trials. Interested individuals can request access through the game’s Steam page.

In August 2024, Ubisoft and Unfrozen announced the turn-based strategy game Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era. Later, the developers revealed more details about the game modes.

In March, Ubisoft and Unfrozen announced a beta test for Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden, open to everyone interested.
