The World’s First Humanoid Olympics Set to Take Place in Greece

From August 29 to September 2, 2025, the first International Humanoid Olympiad will take place in Olympia, Greece, the birthplace of the Olympic Games. The event will be held at the International Olympic Academy.

The main participants will be humanoid robots that will compete in running, jumping, and javelin throwing. Additionally, these robots will demonstrate agility, reaction speed, and the ability to perform complex movements. Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with the robots, observe demonstrations showcasing advancements in robotics, and even take part in workshops.

During the Olympiad, experts in robotics and artificial intelligence will host lectures and discussions. The topics will focus on the future of AI, human-computer collaboration, and the ethics of technology.

The event is organized by Acumino, a company specializing in AI development for robots, and Endeavor Greece, which supports tech entrepreneurs.

Engineers, scientists, students, and inventors from around the globe will participate in the project. Robotics professionals will showcase how technology can assist people and foster economic development.

A key component of the program will be hands-on activities. Under the guidance of specialists, children and teenagers will have the chance to build their own robots, with no special prior training required.
