Telegram Beta Introduces Collaborative Checklists for Chats and Groups

In the beta version 11.13 of Telegram for iOS, checklists have been introduced in chats. Users can create these lists in both personal chats and group conversations. Each checklist can contain up to 30 items, and all chat participants can view them.

The creator of the checklist has the option to manage user permissions:

They can enable all chat members to add new items to the list, and any changes will be visible to everyone in the chat.

Additionally, the chat participants can be allowed to mark items as completed or remove those markings. In such cases, all users will see the profile picture of the person who marked it next to the checkmark.

If none of the above options are selected, only the checklist’s creator will have control over it.

Visually, the checklists resemble polls or quizzes within chats. At the top of the list is a title that can be specified during creation, while the bottom displays a counter for completed items. This feature is likely to be included in the next Telegram update.
