Surge in Computer Clubs in Russia Yields Record Market Expansion in 2024

By the end of 2024, the market for computer gaming clubs in Russia had grown to a record 26 billion rubles. Currently, there are over 3,000 establishments in the country, offering approximately 84,000 gaming stations.

Experts attribute the increasing popularity of these clubs to the high prices of gaming PCs—powerful computers can cost hundreds of thousands of rubles, while clubs provide the opportunity to try out AAA titles at maximum settings.

This trend is particularly noticeable in the regions, where two-thirds of the new establishments have opened outside of Moscow and St. Petersburg.

However, specialists point out that Russia still lags behind other emerging markets. For instance, Kazakhstan boasts 1,500 gaming clubs, which equates to one club for every 13,000 residents.
