Sber Launches IoT Bug Bounty Program to Enhance Security of Smart Devices

Sber invites independent cybersecurity researchers to assess the security level of smart devices through the Sber IoT Bug Bounty program on the BI.ZONE Bug Bounty platform. The potential reward size will be contingent upon the severity of the identified vulnerabilities and can reach up to 250,000 rubles.

Researchers can evaluate all Sber’s smart devices, including:

— SberBoom;
— SberBoom Home;
— SberBox;
— SberBox Top;
— SberPortal, and others.

According to Andrey Lyovkin, the product manager at BI.ZONE Bug Bounty, the launch of the public Sber IoT Bug Bounty program on the BI.ZONE platform signifies a significant initiative for Sber and reflects the company’s mature approach to securing smart devices.

In April 2025, SberTech expanded its public program on the BI.ZONE Bug Bounty platform. Independent researchers are now able to search for vulnerabilities in client and user services under the domain sbertech.ru. Compensation is determined by the severity of the vulnerabilities discovered, with a maximum reward amounting to 200,000 rubles.
