Roman Kuznetsov Claims Second Victory at the Sports Telegram Prize

On February 28, the sports portal «Championat,» supported by the analytics service TGStat, announced the results of the second season of the «Sporting Telegram» award. For the second consecutive year, the award for the best original Telegram channel about sports went to **Roman Kuznetsov**, the creator of the channel **»Simply Formula | Formula 1 | Motorsport.»**

The voting primarily took place in the [Telegram channel of «Championat.»](https://t.me/championat/69672)

Previously, a group stage was held for the award, where readers of «Championat» shortlisted eight finalists from four groups of ten channels based on popular votes. The finalists included channels dedicated to football, motorsports, figure skating, and athletics.

The grand prize in 2024 is a certificate for a «Gambling Weekend» in the gaming zone of «Krasnaya Polyana» – a getaway at the «Marriott Krasnaya Polyana 5*» hotel, which covers a three-night stay in a luxury room for two, complete with breakfast, spa access, and airport-hotel transfers.

The infrastructure includes three gaming establishments, and the gaming zone comprises the «In Game» theater, the «Bonus» aparthotel, the fine dining restaurant Brunello, the «Buffet» restaurant, the «Boomerang» restaurant, and the sports and entertainment area RED ARENA, which hosts mixed martial arts tournaments. Additionally, the gaming zone features show programs, poker tournaments, giveaways, gourmet dinners, performances, and concerts by renowned artists.

It is worth noting that the editorial team of «Championat» compiled a list of 82 major original channels focused on professional sports. Using statistics exclusively provided by TGStat, 40 nominees were selected from this list. The final nominees were chosen based on their performance across three metrics: post reach within the first 24 hours of 2024, the number of unique channels that mentioned the nominee’s channel throughout the year, and the average number of shares per post during 2024. Channels flagged by TGStat analysts for artificial boosting were excluded from the nominees.
