Results of the Russian Championship Sber Finals in Esports Individual Disciplines

On July 20, 2025, the final of the Sber Russian Championship in individual disciplines took place at VK Play Arena. Next up on the final day was Storm Chess. In the battle for bronze, Levon Gerontidi from Moscow bested Vladislav Akhmedzhanov from Lipetsk Oblast with a score of 2:1. The final match featured two players from the capital, where Artyom Zubritsky claimed the champion’s cup and 250,000 rubles, defeating Vladimir Vasiliev in a tense 2:1 match.

In Tetris, Daniil Tarasov from Chuvash Republic defeated Vladislav Konovalov from Rostov Oblast 4:0 in the match for third place. Arseniy Beskrovnykh from Altai Krai became a two-time champion of Russia in computer sports by edging out Ruslan Kopkin from Primorsky Krai 4:3.

In the bronze match for StarCraft II, Yuri Voyuev from Tomsk Oblast faced Nikolai Blonsky from Moscow, finishing with a score of 3:1 in favor of Voyuev. In the final, Yakov Moiseenko from Krasnodar Krai defeated Alexey Solyakov from Moscow 3:1, earning not only the cup and 250,000 rubles but also the special nomination «Mind Genius» from Sber.

The final and one of the most exciting events of the day was Tekken 8, which attracted a crowd of spectators cheering for their favorite players. The champion of Russia in Tekken 8, Garik Galoyan from the Altai Republic, made a remarkable journey to the title through the lower bracket. In the decisive match for entry into the grand final, he defeated Sergey Platov from the Republic of Khakassia 4:3 and then triumphed over Vyacheslav Novikov from Voronezh Oblast 4:1, securing a confident victory and the championship trophy.

Tekken 8 Results:

1st place – Garik Galoyan (Altai Republic);
2nd place – Vyacheslav Novikov (Voronezh Oblast);
3rd place – Sergey Platov (Republic of Khakassia);
4th place – Vladislav Shevchenko (St. Petersburg).

The memorable and spectacular moment in the matches earned Sergey Platov the special nomination «Combo» from Sber, along with a themed award and a monetary prize.

On July 23, 2025, the draw for the decisive stage of the Sber Cup in computer sports took place. Following the preliminary rounds, the top 16 teams in Dota 2 and Counter-Strike 2 were determined. The Tekken 8 program will allow an unlimited number of participants in the final stage. This stage will occur online from July 26 to August 3, with the finals scheduled for August 23 and 24 at the VK Play Arena in Moscow. The total prize pool for the tournament is 5.2 million rubles.
