Registration Opens for the IX All-Russian Family IT Marathon Organized by the RU/RF Domain Coordination Center

The Coordination Center for RU/RF domains, in collaboration with «Rostelecom» and the Academy of Innovative Education and Development, supported by the «Smart Internet» fund (the .ДЕТИ domain), has officially launched the registration for the IX All-Russian Family IT Marathon. This event will take place on the interactive educational project website «Learn the Internet – Manage It» until May 10, with family team registration open until April 22. The results of the IT marathon will be announced by the organizers on May 15.

All participants will have 60 minutes to complete 24 interactive tasks of varying difficulty, focusing on the theme «Technologies in Education.» To gain bonus points and climb the rankings ahead of their competitors, teams can prepare and share a post about the family IT marathon on social media. Each post can earn the team up to 1,000 points, with a maximum of 3,000 bonus points available.

Winners of the family IT marathon will receive diplomas and valuable prizes. Team members who finish in the top positions will be awarded Ozon and «Litres» gift certificates, while their captains will receive letters of appreciation. Participants who do not place in the top ranks will gain electronic certificates of participation in the competition.

The Family IT Marathon offers an engaging way to enhance digital literacy and spark children’s interest in IT professions, while also providing a unique opportunity to spend quality time together solving interesting problems. Thousands of children and parents have already participated in the marathon. Over the past eight years, more than 700 teams from across the country have shown that learning modern technologies together is key to improving digital literacy and narrowing the digital divide,» explained Yuliana Sokolenko, Director of the Department of External Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility at Rostelecom.
