Real Sociedad Clarifies Arsenal Zakharians Loan Situation Amid Injury Concerns

Real Sociedad addressed questions regarding the potential loan of Russian midfielder Arsen Zakaryan. It was previously reported that the recovering player fell ill and missed a training session with the team.

«He is 100% a player for Real Sociedad,» an unnamed club representative told RIA Novosti Sport.

To remind, Zakaryan missed a significant portion of the last season due to injuries. The Russian international participated in four matches across all competitions, where he managed to score one goal and provide one assist. His current contract with the club runs until the summer of 2029. In the opening round of the new La Liga season, Real Sociedad will face Valencia away on August 16.
