Rabadanov: Champions Titles Won, Yet My Career Feels Stalled

Russian lightweight fighter (up to 70 kg) Gadji Rabadanov shared his thoughts on his career.

«The drive for sports never really stops, which is why it’s important to view everything a bit differently. I reflect on my career, and while I’ve secured five victories, I can’t shake the feeling that my career is at a standstill. This is the perspective from a sports standpoint. I won the Grand Prix and became a champion, yet it feels as though my career is stuck in place. When asked about facing either J.J. Wilson or Kevin Lee, I naturally chose Kevin Lee. I’ve always had a strong competitive spirit, even in my amateur career,» Rabadanov stated in a conversation with Championship correspondent Yakhya Gasanov.

Gadji Rabadanov is 31 years old. The Russian fighter made his professional debut in 2013 and has been competing in the PFL since 2019, where he claimed the Grand Prix title. Overall, he has achieved 25 victories and four defeats in mixed martial arts.
