Public Alpha Testing of Single-Player Action RPG Vindictus: Defying Fate Launches on June 8th

South Korean developers at NEXON have announced that from June 8 to June 16, a public alpha testing phase for the single-player action RPG Vindictus: Defying Fate will take place on Steam.

This project serves as a spin-off of Vindictus, a free-to-play MMORPG that launched in 2010. Players will explore the same fantasy world as in the original game, with a single-player campaign alongside a cooperative mode that excludes PvP elements.

The location structure in Vindictus: Defying Fate is linear, with no open-world features anticipated. Once the alpha testing concludes, all progress will reset, requiring players to start anew in the final release. The developers assure that feedback collected during this test will be considered to enhance the game further.

The global alpha test will be available to players from any region, including Russia. Language support in the demo includes Korean, English, and Chinese; unfortunately, there are currently no plans for a Russian localization.
