Pre-orders for Switch 2 in the US Launch April 24 — Console Price Stable Despite Accessory Hikes

After a delay caused by the chaos surrounding U.S. tariffs, Nintendo has announced a new start date for pre-orders of the Nintendo Switch 2 in the United States. Customers will be able to place their pre-orders beginning April 24.

The price for the new console, along with the bundle featuring Mario Kart World and both physical and digital copies of Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bananza, will remain unchanged. However, due to market conditions, the prices for console accessories in the U.S. have been adjusted, with increases ranging from 5% to 15%. The company has warned that further price adjustments may occur in the future due to market fluctuations.

Nintendo has apologized for the delay and reaffirmed that the official launch of Switch 2 is still scheduled for June 5.
