Pre-Order Access to Dune: Awakening Beta Opened to All Players

**Dune: Awakening** is an ambitious MMO with survival elements developed by **Funcom**. A significant beta testing phase began recently, and access is only available through special keys. These are distributed randomly, which has frustrated some players who have already pre-purchased the game. The developers have **listened** to the community and decided to eliminate the lottery aspect for pre-order customers.

Previously, the developers vowed to distribute «tens of thousands of beta testing codes.» However, some users **expressed concern** that giving invitations to all pre-order holders would diminish the chances for others to receive a code. **Funcom** has **assured** that this will not be the case.

Earlier, the studio’s experts **shared** their confidence that the servers for **Dune: Awakening** would handle the high volume of players eager to join at launch.

The beta testing for **Dune: Awakening** will run until May 12. The full release is scheduled for June 10 on **Steam**, while the MMO is expected to arrive on consoles sometime next year. The in-game text will be translated into Russian. The standard edition of the game is available in the **Valve** store for 2,990 rubles, while purchasing the premium edition will allow players to start as early as June 5.
