OMP Unveils Mobile Biometric Registration Solution at CIPR 2025 Conference

The company «Open Mobile Platform» (OMP) and the Center for Biometric Technologies, the operator of the state Unified Biometric System, have **unveiled** a mobile solution for registering verified biometrics—the software-hardware complex (SHC) «Biometrics.» This system was showcased at the CIPR-2025 conference.

This solution is built on the certified trusted platform «Aurora,» enabling the complete chain of verified biometric registration processes within the Geographic Information System of the Unified Biometric System (GIS EBS). It includes obtaining consent for registration in the GIS EBS, account verification of the State Information System (ESIA), capturing photographs or voice recordings, registering biometrics in the GIS EBS, and confirming the registration of the employee’s digital signature. The solution comprises a mobile device running the certified Aurora OS (A4/UD4), a browser supporting GOST-TLS with electronic signature capabilities, and essential application software.

According to the developers, this solution is expected to be in high demand among banks and telecommunications companies. Currently, the «Biometrics» SHC is being actively piloted in several financial institutions.

Vladislav Povolotsky, the CEO of the Center for Biometric Technologies, noted that tablet registration is a significant step toward enhancing the user experience. He stated that this would enable individuals to access all biometric services anywhere and anytime, fully adhering to legal requirements.

Pavel Aiges, the CEO of OMP, emphasized that the expertise of CBT has allowed OMP’s clients to receive a ready-made software-hardware solution for managing biometrics on mobile devices powered by the Aurora OS. This facilitates quick compliance with regulatory requirements and the seamless integration of biometric data management into business processes without substantial costs.
