Nintendo Set to Showcase Switch 2 Gameplay with Three Upcoming Live Streams

Tomorrow, April 2nd, at 4 PM Moscow time, Nintendo will kick off a one-hour Nintendo Direct presentation showcasing the much-anticipated Switch 2 console. However, that’s not all, as the company will also host two additional streams on April 3rd and 4th.

The Nintendo Treehouse: Live streams will commence on both days at the same time—5 PM Moscow time—but the duration of these broadcasts is currently unknown. During the streams, Nintendo plans to reveal gameplay footage from the newly launched console, although it has not specified which titles will be highlighted.

It’s noteworthy that Nintendo Treehouse: Live events haven’t been held for nearly two years; the last themed stream took place in early May 2023, when Nintendo showcased in-depth gameplay of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

According to reputable insider Tom Henderson, the launch of the Nintendo Switch 2 is scheduled for June, with the first wave of games expected to release in three stages. Initially, the company will focus on titles from its own divisions, followed by games from external studios.
