NHL Teams Show Interest in Russian Goalie Ivan Prosvetov, Says Insider

NHL insider Frank Seravalli reported that several teams in the league are showing interest in Russian goaltender Ivan Prosvetov. Last season, the goalie played in the KHL for CSKA Moscow.

«This is an unconventional name to keep an eye on in the goalie market: teams have expressed interest in the 26-year-old unrestricted free agent Ivan Prosvetov. He’s still young by goalie standards, had an impressive season in the KHL, and has already played 24 games in the NHL. It’s a good bet that he will sign with a team today,» Seravalli wrote on social media.

The 26-year-old Prosvetov joined CSKA for the upcoming 2024/2025 season. He participated in 38 regular-season games, securing 20 wins with a save percentage of 92%. In the playoffs, he recorded two victories in five games against Dynamo Minsk, during which he allowed 12 goals with a save percentage of 91.8%.
