It’s still uncertain which part is involved—this could be either  The Last of Us Part I or  Part II. However, both games already had physical versions released. It’s possible that a collection of both titles is in the works. The high price may suggest something more than a simple disc in a case; perhaps it will be a collectible edition, possibly featuring a new limited edition DualSense controller themed around the franchise.

An official announcement is anticipated by the insider within the next few months, which aligns with the premiere of the second season of the HBO series based on the franchise, scheduled for April 13, 2025.

However, it’s wise to approach the news about the “special edition” with a degree of skepticism, even though billbil-kun has a strong reputation.

What can be taken as certainty, on the other hand, is the release of  The Last of Us Part II Remastered on PC (Steam, EGS). This will definitely happen on April 3. The game will feature complete Russian localization, and it’s not necessary to have a PSN account. However, confirming one might provide a nice in-game bonus as a pleasant incentive.
