New Images from I Know What You Did Last Summer Reveal a Wiser Cast Ahead of July 18 Premiere

Entertainment Weekly has shared new footage from the horror film «I Know What You Did Last Summer.» The film is set to premiere on **July 18**.

In an interview with the publication, lead actor Freddie Prinze Jr. revealed that the characters from previous installments have become wiser and more experienced in this sequel to the cult classic.

«I Know What You Did Last Summer» serves as a continuation of the first two movies, disregarding the events of subsequent films in the franchise. The storyline follows five friends who accidentally cause a fatal car accident. As they cover up their crime, a year later a hook-wielding killer starts picking them off one by one. The friends are forced to seek help from those who survived the 1997 massacre.

The main cast also includes Jennifer Love Hewitt («Heartbreakers»), Chase Sui Wonders («The Film Studio»), and Madelyn Cline («Outer Banks»).
