Naguchev on Shpilevskys Surprising Move to Pari NN: Hes German

Renowned football commentator **Roman Naguchev** shared his thoughts on the appointment of former head coach of Cypriot club **Aris**, Belarusian **Aleksey Shpilevskiy**, to a similar position at **Pari NN**.

«Aleksey Shpilevskiy is the new coach of Pari NN; this is a completely unexpected move from both the coach and the club. It’s worth noting that Pari NN faced a dramatic relegation from the RPL, and only the shortcomings of the regulations allowed them to remain in contention. This represents a fresh opportunity. For example, ‘Fakel’ repeatedly managed to avoid relegation from the FNL in a similar way, and then made a remarkable return to the top league.

It’s challenging to predict the fate of Aleksey and his new team. We’ve known each other for many years, dating back to Leipzig U16. I’ve closely followed his career, and one thing is clear: he has a German mentality. This might be difficult to grasp, but if you adhere to his standards, you will become a champion and could even make history like ‘Aris’ and ‘Kairat.’ However, if not, it could turn out strangely, akin to ‘Erzgebirge.’

This is my perspective.

Given the current roster, Pari NN shouldn’t have even been in the fight for survival, yet the outcome has been as it is—the team and the club have both underperformed. I am unsure if a single coach, who values meticulous organization, can resolve this.

What I do know is that this will be quite an adventure, you’ll see,» Naguchev wrote on his [Telegram channel](https://t.me/offearth/8086).

To remind you, the contract with the 37-year-old specialist is set for three seasons.

Earlier today, the RFU approved the list of 16 teams that will participate in the 2025/2026 Russian Championship. Relegated Pari NN will take the place of the Moscow region’s **Khimki**, who failed to obtain a license to compete in the RPL.
