Nadal Reflects on the Unique Significance of the 2024 Olympics in His Career

Former world number one and Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal shared a post reflecting on the summer Olympics held in Paris in 2024. It’s worth noting that the Games began exactly one year ago, on July 26.

«One year ago… One of the most special moments of my career,» Nadal wrote on his social media account.

Nadal announced his retirement in November 2024. Throughout his career, he secured 92 singles titles, including 22 Grand Slam titles and 36 Masters titles. In doubles, he won 11 ATP tournaments, including the Olympic gold medal in 2016. His last Grand Slam victory came in 2022 at the French Open in Paris, where he defeated Norwegian Casper Ruud in the final with a score of 6:3, 6:3, 6:0.
