Most Major TRUMP Whales Are Not American, Says Report

Among the potential attendees of the exclusive gala dinner hosted by U.S. President Donald Trump are the 25 largest holders of the TRUMP memecoin, most of whom are non-residents of the country. This conclusion was drawn by Bloomberg.

According to their analysis, 19 out of the 25 largest registered holders of TRUMP tokens utilized cryptocurrency exchanges that are not accessible to American users. This trend is evident among 56% of the top 220 holders as well, with 76% of the total value of tokens held by these users reportedly controlled by foreign individuals.

The most favored platforms among the top TRUMP holders include Binance, Bybit, and OKX, all of which did not offer services to U.S. users at the time of data collection. In April, OKX announced its return to the U.S. market; however, six of the holders mentioned in the analysis acquired their tokens prior to the exchange’s updated terms.

Experts suggest that U.S. residents may have taken advantage of foreign platforms in defiance of regulations, possibly employing tools like VPNs.

Attendees at the gala will undergo additional verification procedures prior to the event, including a KYC (Know Your Customer) process for their TRUMP wallets.

It’s worth noting that the U.S. Senate committee on investigations will be looking into Trump’s crypto initiatives for potential conflicts of interest.
