Ministry of Digital Development Reports Nearly 6 Million SIM Card Checks on State Services in Less Than 24 Hours

The Ministry of Digital Development reported that users of the «Gosuslugi» portal checked their SIM card data nearly 6 million times in less than 24 hours.

As of 3:00 PM Moscow time on April 2, there were 5.7 million requests made. Users can view their phone numbers across 42 different operators.

Here’s a breakdown of the request frequency for SIM card information:

— On average, users accessed the service 7,000 times per minute.
— During peak hours at 10:45 PM Moscow time on April 1, there were 1,000 requests per second.

On April 1, 2025, the «SIM Cards» service became available on «Gosuslugi,» allowing users to see how many and which phone numbers are registered under their names with different carriers. «We are technically prepared. There may be some glitches in the initial hours and days, but overall we are ready to launch the service,» stated the Minister of Digital Development, Maksut Shadayev, to the media.

No changes have been made to the regulations regarding communication contracts.
