Ministry of Digital Development Launches Free IT Certification for Python, Java, SQL, C#, PHP, HTML, OOP, PostgreSQL, and Linux Skills

The Ministry of Digital Development has launched access to the IT specialist certification system on the «Gosuslugi» platform. The certificate is valid for one year from the date of the test completion.

Now, anyone interested can freely and voluntarily confirm their IT competencies, regardless of their educational background, by taking a test on a dedicated platform.

The Ministry’s certificate will enable employers to better assess the skills of specialists, while providing job seekers with an additional advantage in the employment market.

Which skills can be certified
This year, the platform aims to offer materials on 21 IT competencies.

Currently, tests are available for:
➖ 5 programming languages — Python, Java, SQL, C#, PHP
➖ and 12 theoretical areas — HTML, OOP, PostgreSQL, «Functional Testing,» «Regression Testing,» Git, API, CSS, Docker, «Algorithms and Data Structures,» JavaScript, Linux.

Over the year, two more programming languages — C++ and Go — as well as two theoretical subjects — «Mathematical Statistics» and «Machine Learning» — will be added.

How to obtain the certificate
On the «National System for Confirming IT Competencies» page on Gosuslugi, select a skill, navigate to the platform, and complete the assessment.

A specialist who successfully passes the examination will receive a certificate from the Ministry. This document will be accessible for one year in the personal account on Gosuslugi under the «Education» section.
