Microsoft has launched a macOS app for its generative AI chatbot, Copilot.

The wait is finally over—we’re now available on macOS! Download Copilot for Mac and give it a try today.

Similar to OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Copilot can answer questions, assist with email composition, summarize documents, and perform various everyday tasks. It also features an image generator powered by DALL-E 3.

Initially, the AI assistant was accessible via web browsers like Edge, Chrome, Firefox, and Safari, and later extended support to Android, iOS, and iPadOS. Additionally, it has been integrated into Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and other Microsoft applications.

To use Copilot, you’ll need a Mac with an M chip running macOS 14.0 or later.

The Copilot version for macOS includes a dark mode and the convenience of quick access through the Command + Space keyboard shortcut.

Just days before the release, Microsoft made the Voice and Think Deeper features available for free to all users. The Voice feature enables voice interaction, while Think Deeper focuses on fostering more profound discussions.

In February, Microsoft announced its first quantum computing chip, the Majorana 1, claiming to have created a completely new state of matter—topological.

Previously, the corporation trained the Copilot AI assistant to comprehend contextual information displayed on computer screens during web browsing.
