MetaMask расширяет горизонты: теперь пользователи могут торговать токенизированными акциями и ETF Translation: MetaMask Expands Horizons: Now Users Can Trade Tokenized Stocks and ETFs

The well-known Web3 wallet MetaMask has introduced support for tokenized stocks and ETFs.

This integration has been made possible through a collaboration with the RWA platform Ondo Finance.

«Users of mobile devices in supported jurisdictions outside the U.S. can access over 200 tokenized U.S. securities, including Tesla, NVIDIA, Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, as well as ETFs like SLV (silver), IAU (gold), and QQQ, without the need to open a traditional brokerage account, remaining fully within the crypto space,» states the project website by ConsenSys.

Users can purchase tokens from Ondo Global Markets using USDC on the Ethereum network via the MetaMask Swaps exchange feature.

«These assets are linked to the market value of the underlying securities. Trading is available 24/5: from 8:05 PM ET on Sunday to 7:59 PM ET on Friday. Token transfers can be conducted around the clock,» explains the website.

In the RWA segment, Ondo Finance leads in the quantity and total value of tokenized securities.

Below are the most liquid assets in this segment:

The volume of the tokenized stock sector is nearing $1 billion (up 18.8% over 30 days), and the number of holders of such assets is approaching 300,000.

To recall, last October MetaMask added perpetual contract trading through Hyperliquid and entered into a partnership with Polymarket.
