March Unveils Midnight Murder Club: A Dark, Thrilling Multiplayer Shooter Experience

Velan Studios is the team behind the online dodgeball game Knockout City. With support from Sony, they are developing a new multiplayer action game called Midnight Murder Club. The companies have announced that the game will enter early access on PC (Steam) and PlayStation 5 on March 13. The action title will feature cross-play and cross-progression.

Players will take on the roles of members of an elite club who are hunting each other in a sinister mansion. Each of the six participants is equipped with a revolver and a flashlight. Using the light allows you to uncover valuable information, but it also makes you an easy target—sometimes it’s better not to rely solely on your sight.

Survival will depend on finding scattered weapons and items throughout the location, including night vision pills, bulletproof vests, traps, Molotov cocktails, and more.

At launch, the early version of the shooter will offer five modes, featuring classic ones like «Team Deathmatch» and «Free-for-All.» Today, Velan Studios also shared details about the Wildcards mode, where players draw cards that influence gameplay—such as granting everyone super speed. After matches, you can add new cards to your collection.

The Midnight Murder Club includes a guest pass system—after purchasing the game, you can invite up to five friends to join without needing separate copies.
