Kislyak Discusses CSKAs Ambition to Win the RPL Title This Season

CSKA midfielder Matvey Kislyak responded to the question of whether the team aims to win the Russian Premier League by the end of the 2025/2026 season.

“You always aspire to win titles, so that goal remains constant. I don’t want to limit our ambitions to just finishing in the top three; let others set those types of targets. We’ll take it game by game, demonstrate our intentions through our performance, and then we can back it up with words later. Talking without delivering results is not what our team is about,” said Kislyak, as reported on the official CSKA website.

For reference, last season Kislyak played in 33 official matches, scoring four goals and providing one assist. After the first two rounds of the new Russian Premier League season, the army team has accumulated four points. In the first round, Fabio Celestini’s squad drew 0-0 with Orenburg, and in the second round, they secured a 2-1 victory over Akhmat.
