Kiryaakov: CSKAs Trust in Foreign Coaches Continues with Celestini Experiment

Former forward of Moscow’s Dynamo, **Sergey Kiryakov**, shared his thoughts on the appointment of **Fabio Celestini** as the head coach of CSKA.

«It’s intriguing to see what will happen following Celestini’s appointment at CSKA. This is yet another experiment, as the army team enjoys taking risks by opting for foreign specialists. So far, CSKA hasn’t fully committed to placing more trust in Russian coaches. Changes are certainly on the horizon for the team, and the playing philosophy will shift as well. There’s always a reshuffling of the deck for them. Now, it all comes down to the cards they draw from that deck. If they pull good cards and perhaps a joker, that’s one scenario — last season, CSKA performed quite well. What about the upcoming season? The deck has been shuffled anew,» Kiryakov remarked in an interview with journalist Vladislav Kruglov from Championat.
