KG Motors Unveils $7,000 Compact Single-Seater Electric Vehicle Mibot, Poised to Transform Japans Auto Market

A Japanese startup, KG Motors, has unveiled the compact single-seat electric vehicle named Mibot, priced at $7,000.

The developers believe that this mini EV is perfectly suited for urban environments, and they have already received 2,250 pre-orders. Industry experts are optimistic that the Mibot could serve as a catalyst for change in the Japanese automotive market.

According to the manufacturer, the Mibot measures 2.49 meters in length. There will be an option capable of traveling up to 100 kilometers on a single charge, with a maximum speed of 60 km/h.

Production of the Mibot is set to begin in the fall of 2025, with the first 300 units scheduled for delivery to customers in the spring of 2026.
