Kalshi нацеливается на цифровую экосистему: сотрудничество и инновации в мире блокчейна Translation: Kalshi Sets Its Sights on Digital Ecosystem: Collaboration and Innovations in the Blockchain World

Kalshi, a prediction market, aims to integrate into all major blockchain applications and exchanges within the coming year. This was announced by the company’s head of cryptocurrency, John Wang, as reported by The Block.

Wang shared that the firm is betting on the crypto community—“powerful users” at the forefront of finance and technology.

The expert highlighted that the platform is developing an ecosystem for developers, offering tools for real-time event data streaming to the blockchain, as well as for creating AI agents and advanced interfaces.

In September, Kalshi revealed its partnership with the blockchains Solana and Base, launching a grant program for innovators. Wang emphasized that the company plans to collaborate with other networks to engage new communities.

The executive compared prediction markets to a “Trojan Horse” that will facilitate users’ entry into the digital economy. He noted that these markets are simpler to understand than traditional crypto options, potentially attracting a new audience.

He added that on-chain initiatives would complement but not replace the main platform.

Kalshi has strengthened its position, increasing its market share in prediction markets from 3.3% to 66% over the year, overtaking its main competitor, Polymarket. This growth is attributed to the popularity of contracts related to American football.

Wang explained the success is the result of three years of work to comply with regulatory requirements. Previously, the platform won a lawsuit against the CFTC, which allowed the prohibition on election-related contracts to be lifted.

Currently, Polymarket is preparing to return to the U.S. after a four-year regulatory ban. The company acquired QCX LLC (now Polymarket US) for $112 million, obtaining a Designated Contract Market (DCM) license that enables offering contracts on sports and political events to American users.

Wang reiterated that Kalshi would continue enhancing its interface, tailoring it to different market categories to stand out among competitors.

“The information flows and context for each market are unique, and our interface will reflect that,” he added.

Recall that in July, Kalshi integrated the AI bot Grok into its prediction platform.
