Infotecs Launches New Security Gateway Based on Russian ATB-Electronica Platform

The company «InfoTeCS» has recently launched a new security gateway model, the ViPNet Coordinator HW50. This innovative gateway is built on the Russian hardware platform HW50 A1 and is part of the ViPNet Coordinator HW 4 series.

The device incorporates the network computing platform «ATB-ATOM-1.3,» developed by «ATB-Electronics.» This platform is officially registered in the Unified Register of Russian Radio Electronic Products (Government Resolution No. 878).

The gateway supports speeds of up to 250 Mbps in VPN mode and up to 700 Mbps in firewall mode. It has a mini-computer form factor and is equipped with three 1G (RJ-45) network interfaces, two USB ports, an HDMI output, and a console port (RJ-45) for local connections. Detailed specifications are available on the product’s website.

The ViPNet Coordinator HW50 A1 has received certification from the Federal Service for Technical and Export Control (FSTEC) in accordance with the requirements for type A and type B firewalls, classified at level 4 with a trust level of 4. The certification process for compliance with the Federal Security Service (FSB) requirements for cryptographic security tools of class KS3 is in the final stages.

Dmitry Gusev, Deputy General Director of «InfoTeCS,» stated that the collaboration with «ATB-Electronics» is instrumental in developing new products based on Russian platforms. According to Gusev, the HW50 model is a direct outcome of this partnership. He noted that the HW50 A1 platform will also be utilized in future ViPNet Coordinator HW 5 cryptographic gateways, which will support GOST VPN and the NGFW concept. The company is also exploring «ATB-Electronics» platforms for advancing its line of industrial gateways.

Roman Dementiev, Executive Director of «ATB Electronics,» added that the «ATB Electronics» team supports partners at every stage, from testing to certification and OEM integration. He expressed confidence that this collaborative solution will be well-received in the Russian market and meet modern security requirements.
