Hyperliquid активирует HIP-3 для децентрализованного создания бессрочных фьючерсных рынков Translation: Hyperliquid activates HIP-3 for decentralized creation of perpetual futures markets

On October 13, the decentralized exchange (DEX) Hyperliquid will activate the HIP-3 update. The project’s administrator announced this in Discord.

This upgrade will streamline the creation of perpetual futures markets by removing the need for protocol-level permissions.

According to the proposal, any developer will now be able to launch a DEX powered by HyperCore. They will need to stake 500,000 HYPE to do so.

The market creator will be responsible for defining its parameters, including contract specifications and oracles, leverage limits, and settlement procedures. Developers can set their commission share to as much as 50%. For traders, fees will be double those on markets managed by validators, while the protocol’s revenue will remain unchanged.

To safeguard Hyperliquid and its users, HIP-3 includes security measures such as slashing validators and caps on open interest.

Several conditions will apply at launch:

The project team has described this update as a «crucial step towards full decentralization of the listing process.»

In response to the news, the price of HYPE has surged. Over the past 24 hours, the asset has risen by 13.3%, reaching $42, according to CoinGecko. The market capitalization has reached $11.4 billion.

Additionally, on October 8, the Web3 wallet MetaMask introduced trading of perpetual contracts through Hyperliquid.
