He shared his thoughts on social media while commenting on the successful launch of the latest installment from Ubisoft, which has attracted over 2 million players, set a franchise record for concurrent users on Steam, and topped the weekly sales chart of paid games on the platform.

The Shadows game, set in feudal Japan, faced a wave of criticism right from its announcement. The primary concerns revolved around the choice of one of the main characters—an African samurai named Yasuke, whose inclusion is viewed by many as a historical inaccuracy. However, the project has been warmly received by what can be described as a «silent majority,» reflecting in very positive reviews on Steam.

The title is available on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series, as well as on Amazon Luna’s cloud service. The game features Russian subtitles.
