Renowned manager Ali Abdelaziz shared his thoughts on the current UFC middleweight champion, South African Dricus Du Plessis.

«I want to see Hamzat win. He’s my friend, and I know him well. However, you have to respect the champion, Dricus Du Plessis, who holds the middleweight title. This guy is incredibly tough. He relies on hard work rather than raw talent. Honestly, I’m a big fan of his,» Abdelaziz stated in an interview with Submission Radio.

Dricus Du Plessis is 31 years old and made his UFC debut in 2020. In his most recent fight at UFC 312 in February, he secured a unanimous decision victory over former American champion Sean Strickland.
