Hamster Kombat Unveils First-Ever L2 Gaming Blockchain on TON

The Hamster Kombat team has announced the launch of Hamster Network, which is touted as the «first-ever» gaming Layer 2 blockchain built on TON.

This network operates on the Ton Virtual Machine and its smart contracts are fully compatible with The Open Network, facilitating the transfer of decentralized applications (dapps). The system’s security is guaranteed by its complete alignment with the original blockchain.

At its launch, the network includes a wallet, a bridge, and a decentralized exchange (DEX). Developers are already working on projects for the Hamster Network.

The beta testing phase is currently taking place through the Hamster Boost program. Participants can engage in «blockchain verification tasks,» earning bounties and other rewards.

Additionally, it’s worth noting that on February 18, the Hamster Kombat team announced the start of its second season and revealed a new airdrop.
