Hacker Exposes Solana Co-Founders Personal Data on Migos Instagram Page

Raj Gokal, the co-founder of [Solana](https://forklog.com/cryptorium/chto-takoe-solana), fell victim to a data breach when hackers leaked his personal information on the Instagram account of the hip-hop group Migos, which has a following of 13 million. This was reported by [The Block](https://www.theblock.co/post/355769/solana-co-founders-personal-data-leaked).

The Web3 entrepreneur was likely subjected to blackmail prior to the data leak. The hacker included a link to a Telegram group chat, urging participants to «spam» the Solana co-founder.

«You should have paid 40 BTC ($4.36 million),» read one of the messages.

The posts featured seven images, including Gokal’s selfies with his driver’s license and passport, as well as what appeared to be his spouse’s driver’s license.

Another post contained personal details about the Solana co-founder, including his phone number.

The Instagram messages were not removed for over an hour after being posted.

On May 21, Gokal mentioned on X that for the past week, attackers had attempted to gain access to his email, social media accounts, as well as his Google, Apple, and other service accounts.

Numerous celebrity and influencer social media accounts have been compromised by hackers, who typically use them to promote fake cryptocurrencies and defraud their followers.

In April, Kenny Li, the co-founder of Manta Network, shared details about a hacking attempt via Zoom, allegedly orchestrated by the North Korean hacking group [Lazarus Group](https://forklog.com/cryptorium/chto-izvestno-o-lazarus-group-podozrevaemoj-vo-vzlome-bybit).

In March, the same group [attacked](https://forklog.com/news/hakery-atakovali-kriptopredprinimatelej-cherez-zoom) Jake Gallen, the head of the NFT platform Emblem Vault, through this app, resulting in the theft of «tens of millions of dollars,» according to media reports.
