Google Photos позволяет редактировать изображения голосом с помощью ИИ Translation: Google Photos enables image editing by voice using AI

Users of Google Photos on Android have been granted the ability to edit images using voice or natural language text commands.

This AI-driven feature enables modifications without needing to navigate through the app’s various tools and their locations.

Initially, it was available to owners of the new Pixel 10 devices in the U.S., which were launched in August. Now, AI editing has been rolled out to all adult Android users in the country.

To use the tool, one needs to click the “Help me edit” button in the editor and describe how the photo should be altered. If one lacks specific ideas, pre-made suggestions from Gemini can be utilized, or simply say “Make it better.”

The feature supports standard types of edits such as lighting adjustments. More complex alterations are also possible, including the removal of background objects and restoration of old photographs. Users can incorporate AI-generated elements to enhance the image’s expressiveness and creativity.

During the editing process, Gemini comprehends clarifying requests and assists in refining the final outcome.

As a reminder, in September, Google announced a major AI update for Chrome.
