Gazzaev Slams Krasnodar Players for Poor Conduct Against Zenit

The Russian coach **[Valery Gazzaev](https://www.championat.com/tags/1091-valerij-gazzaev/)** commented on the violations by FC Krasnodar players during the 24th round of the Russian Premier League match against Zenit (1:4).

«I was not pleased when Krasnodar started to fall behind; there were numerous dirty fouls. They needed to mount a comeback, but I didn’t see any leadership on the field. In such moments, leaders are supposed to take charge, yet Spertsyann didn’t perform at his usual level, and Chernikov committed several fouls. They began to rely more on the referees and engaged in confrontations. Krasnodar should have focused on their game instead.

Kordoba only had one moment when Krivtsov scored. The Zenit defenders effectively neutralized Krasnodar’s strikers. Zenit’s victory was well-deserved. They prepared for the match exceptionally well. They exhibited good movement, ball control, and created scoring opportunities. I was impressed by the team; they played like they did in their prime. Additionally, their technical execution made a significant difference. It’s simply not feasible to rely solely on Kordoba for the entire match,» Gazzaev shared in an interview with Championship correspondent Maria Kutsubaeva.
