Gauff Dominates Kenin 6-0, 6-0 in Miami Tournament Opener

The 2023 US Open champion and currently the third-ranked player in the world, American tennis player Coco Gauff, made a strong beginning at the WTA 1000 tournament in Miami, USA.

In her second-round match, Gauff (3) dominated former Australian Open champion Sofia Kenin (ranked 46th in the world), winning decisively with a score of 6-0, 6-0.

The match lasted just 47 minutes, during which Gauff served one ace, made two double faults, and converted six of the nine break points she created. Kenin, on the other hand, did not record any aces, committed two double faults, and failed to convert her only break point opportunity.

Next in Miami, Gauff will face the winner of the match between Lucia Bronzetti (Italy) and Maria Sakkari (Greece, 28).
