Final Showdown of the National Student Esports League by Sber Takes Place in Moscow

The final of the second season of the National Student Cyber League organized by Sber took place at VK Play Arena in Moscow on June 14 and 15, 2025. The decisive stage featured the top four teams competing in Dota 2 and Counter-Strike 2. The first day included the semifinals and matches for third place, while the second day hosted the finals, award ceremonies, and tournaments for the audience. **Counter-Strike 2**

The final was contested between the teams from Ufa State university of Science and Technology (USUST, Ufa) and the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics (PRUE, Moscow). Both teams advanced confidently from the semifinals: USUST triumphed over MIREA (Moscow) with a score of 2:0, while PRUE defeated DVGU of Khabarovsk, also 2:0.

There was no third-place match as a player from MIREA withdrew from the competition. As a result, DVGU was awarded the bronze medal.

In the final, USUST secured a decisive victory against PRUE with a score of 2:0, earning the team the championship title and a cash prize of 200,000 rubles. Maxim «GREATEST» Kapralov from USUST received the «Incredible Moment» award from Sber, which came with a prize of 50,000 rubles.

3rd place – DVGU (Khabarovsk)

**Dota 2**

In the semifinals, UrFU (Yekaterinburg) defeated SFEDU (Krasnoyarsk) with a score of 2:1, while SevGU (Sevastopol) won against PRUE (Moscow) also 2:1. In the match for third place, SFEDU proved to be stronger than PRUE, taking the victory 2:0.

In the final, SevGU replicated last season’s success, defeating UrFU with a score of 2:0. Andrei «be_LIE_ver» Strelkov from SevGU was awarded the «Most Impactful Contribution» honor from Sber.

1st place – SevGU (Sevastopol)

2nd place – UrFU (Yekaterinburg)

3rd place – SFEDU (Krasnoyarsk)

**Additional Events**

The venue also hosted a Tekken 8 tournament as part of the PORT project, with 44 participants. Six players emerged as winners, each achieving nine victories.

The National Student Cyber League finals marked the conclusion of a season that began in April. A total prize pool of 4 million rubles was distributed, with 200,000 rubles for each discipline in the finals.
