DLC Release for Cities: Skylines II Featuring Bridges and Ports Delayed Once Again

The creators of the troubled city-builder game Cities: Skylines II have once again postponed the launch of the major expansion Bridges & Ports. Originally, this DLC was set to be released a year ago; however, this did not occur due to the unsatisfactory state of the game’s release version and the need for patch development. Recently, the DLC was slated for June 11, but that date has also fallen through, with the new timeframe moved to the end of the year.

This delay stems from less-than-favorable feedback from testers, prompting the developers to take additional time for content creation:

Despite the delay, part of the content will still be released as scheduled—on June 11, the developers will launch a free update, which will include two new bridges, three piers, and three docks. Additionally, it’s important to remember that console versions of Cities: Skylines II for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series are also scheduled for release this year.
