Diablo IV Set for Epic Collaboration with Iconic Manga Berserk

A couple of weeks ago, the developers at Blizzard unveiled their content support plan for Diablo IV for this year. The roadmap indicated that during Season Eight, titled «Return of Belial«, a collaboration with a certain third-party franchise is anticipated. Based on a leaked teaser, this crossover features the legendary manga Berserk by Kentaro Miura.

The animated preview showcases a barbarian battling a horde of monsters against a backdrop of an eclipse, clad in the Berserk armor and wielding the «Dragon Slayer,» the iconic greatsword of Guts. Although the teaser doesn’t explicitly mention Diablo IV, media outlets speculate that a similar collaboration might be in the works for Diablo Immortal, though the developers have not made any such announcements.

At the time the teaser was released, the creators had not elaborated on the specifics of the collaboration. Season «Return of Belial» is set to launch on April 29. In addition to various new features, players can expect a rebalancing of difficulty, a revamped battle pass, new bosses, an updated boss lair system, fresh quests, skills, enhancements to quality of life, additional relics, and more.
